REFLECTION on the article ICT in Bhutanese Education by Yeshey Lhendup After reading the article, I am struck by the potential impact that integration of technology could have on education in our country. This article highlights some of the advantages of using ICT tools in education, such as increase in access to information, improvement in teaching and learning experiences, and enhancement of the overall quality of education. However, this article also takes us through some of the challenges that need to be overcome in effectively implementing ICT in our education. The challenges include lack of infrastructure, limited access to technology in some rural areas, and the need for more teacher training and support. Dassain

Dashain is celebrated by the Hindu followers all over Nepal and also in the southern foothills of Bhutan. It is the festival that brings happiness and delivers the message of unity among people. This festival signifies unity, the victory of truth, and the inception of happiness.  Dashain symbolizes the victory of good over evil. For followers of Shaktism, it represents the victory of the goddess Durga. For other Hindus, this festival symbolizes the victory of Ram over Ravan as recounted in the Ramayana.
